“The Only Constant in Life Is Change.” - Heraclitus

Change is inevitable, and yet it is difficult for most of us to adapt to change. We hold onto this idea of what was and romanticize the past. Whether this is past versions of ourselves, our relationships with others, or what was yesterday.

I initially started writing to create space for sharing my mental health journey. In one year, I took the time and resources to invest in myself. I invested into my mental health, my physical health, and the things that make me happy. I’ve put in a lot of work into myself, to recognize old patterns, and work to change myself for the better. In the process, I’m growing and getting to know myself better.

In addition to advocating for mental health, I am passionate about mindful living, sustainability, event planning, and traveling.

I hope to continue to embrace change and evolve my blog as I continue to learn and grow. Transcend means “to go further, rise above, or be more important or better than something, especially a limit”. My goal is to rise above the limitations of what yesterday was.
